Before the resorts had RFID gates and overpriced lattes, there was Gnarlz. A 3 timeĀ dundie award recipientĀ and day trader of BTC back in the Papa John's glory day. Gnarlz lived the day to day and he did it well.Ā
On a snowy day in Scranton, Pennsylvania Gnarlz got in a tuffle with a coworker after discovering he used the Keurig and did not remove the expired green tea pod.Ā GnarlzĀ slammed his fist on his desk "God dammit, I canāt use your pity!!!! I'm out!! and i'm bound to Montana bitches!!"Ā
On that fateful day Dec 28, 2011 Gnarlz left the city of Scranton towards a higher calling Big Sky Resort, Montana.
He carved his first line down Big Couloir using a DIY one-off board of reclaimed wood torn form an abandoned cabin. His beanie? Never removed. His tie? A relic from a corporate job he quit outa micro-aggression to chase powder full-time.
Gnarlz doesnāt ride with the mountain, he rides against it. Every stomp echoes through the valley like a war drum. Locals say he once outran a Dingus on foot. Others claim he taught Dingus how to ride switch.
His signature move? The McShred Spiral! A 720 tailgrab with a mid-air leftover burrito bite.
